Winter Schedule: Jan 20th-May 4th Hip hop instructor Nicole Lewis began her journey as a hip-hop dancer in 2006, where she began her training at Studio 429 (formerly known as Formality Dance Academy) in San Diego, California. During her time at Studio 429, Nicole has danced under the directions of Emmett Agapay, Tracy Seiler, Kristen Aguinaldo, Jeff Morales, and Darryl Belarmino as she competed and trained with dance teams: Tru-Definition, Breakthrough, and finally Choreo Cookies in 2008-2009. In the summer of 2009, Nicole was blessed with the opportunity to continue her dance career under the artistic directions of Vinh Nguyen and Justin Vaughn when she joined the Super Galactic Beat Manipulators - one of the four Family Royale dance teams (Jabbawockeez, Press Play, Boogie Monstarz, and SGBM). Over the years as a hip-hop dancer, Nicole has been fortunate enough to dance in competitions such as Body Rock, Vibe, Traffic, Fusion, and World of Dance, as well as preform in local California dance shows. During the summer of 2011, her dance crew, SGBM, was invited to compete at the world renowned dance competition, Hip Hop International in Las Vegas, NV. After a week long of national and international competitions, they placed 1st in the USA, and 2nd in the World in the Mega Crew Division. Nicole has found dance to be a creative outlet for her artistic expression and emotions, she dances for fun and to inspire and connect with other individuals in a positive way. Earthly Delights Fitness is so fortunate to have Nicole on board and share her passion and talent. Welcome aboard, Nicole!
